Rewritten Base Code:
Old save files are no longer compatible due to a complete rewrite of the base code.
Save File Improvements:
Added the option to name your save files. This feature can be toggled on or off in the preferences menu.
Introduced a delete button next to your save files, providing more control over file management.
Performance Updates:
Removed the Performance Mode and Quality Mode toggle, replacing it with an optimized Performance Mode.
Gameplay Enhancements:
Adjusted various transitions throughout the gameplay for smoother visuals.
Video Playback Fixes:
Resolved an issue where certain videos appeared smaller in resolution, playing in only half the screen when switching between fullscreen and windowed modes.
Memory Optimization:
Addressed memory leak issues. The game now maintains memory usage below 500 MB during normal pacing and does not exceed 2 GB in any mode. Previous tests only focused on the “skipping phase,” where no memory leaks were detected, but issues in normal pacing mode for some users should now be resolved.
