To experience the new scenes, simply load your last save file from the previous version and finish the final scene (the chat history with Joan). The new version will transition and trigger automatically.

Heads-up: this time, the vast majority of animations feature integrated sound. However, I’ve moved the animation audio to a dedicated VOICE volume slider in the settings. You can now adjust the animation volume to your liking without affecting the background music or SFX. My personal recommendation for the best experience is to keep the music around 25-50%, sound effects around 50-75%, and the voice volume at 100%—these are the exact settings I use when testing and building the scenes.

Once again, 80% of the animations are 10 seconds long (consisting of two different angles at 5 seconds each). Some are slightly shorter, and some are slightly longer. Even though an animation might only feature a single line of dialogue that you can read in a second, please don’t rush to click through if you want to see ALL the animated content prepared for you.

Moreover, please note that for the very first time, the ratio of animations to frames has reached a massive 50%! That means there is 1 animation for every 2 static images. When I first looked at these numbers, I was completely blown away myself, but the data speaks for itself. Given the sheer amount of time we invested in preparing the animations and seamlessly syncing them into the scenes, it makes perfect sense.

Reading through the entire text at a steady pace while enjoying the renders and watching all the animations will take you about an hour.
